Now for another one of my almost non-existent journal entries. School has practically sapped away all of my time for experimentation with my tablet. Its only been this lil winter break in which I've had time to test it out and explore a crazy idea I thought of. Bungaku Shoujo + Nagato Yuki... too bad the lineart isn't very good. I've had comments like the head is too small... on some days, I may agree, on other days, I might argue otherwise... regardless, my lineart is too messy. I still don't have a good grasp on how to produce clean lineart... after fiddling with the tip settings, I figured I should go with a softer tip and smaller brush. T

I should really stop ignoring the journal segment of DA... Not that anyone reads it but it might catch some attention. First of all, I do numerous colourings of artwork whenever I have free time, which isn't very often. But when I do get around to colouring something, 9 times out of 10 will not be my own artwork. I don't produce lineart of sufficient quality that I deem worthy of colouring. That or I just don't have the skill or imagination to draw what I thinking of. For those who comment, I would advise that you read what I've written even if it is ungodly long. With that out of the way, to the fun and painful stuff! School is back on so t

I've neglected the journal portion of DA since I've joined. Its about time I actually update this... The start of a new semester means the start of a whole new slate of pain. Despite this, it won't stop me from drawing and doodling. Still trying to get use to my Wacom tablet... with the new course load, I won't really have much time to enjoy it though. Oh well... back to work!
